About Dillon
“
AN ESSENTIAL ASPECT OF CREATIVITY
IS NOT BEING AFRAID TO FAIL
”
Hey, I'm Dillon and I make stuff. I'm a director of photography based OKC. I've always loved the feeling of creating something and putting it out into the world. I've been making movies since I got hold of an iPod touch in 2008. I studied Graphic Design at Francis Tuttle, and Digital Cinema Production at OCCC. I've had the pleasure of working on many sets as the cinematographer, but I also frequently work on larger sets as a 2nd AC. You should totally check out my portfolio if you haven't already.

CINEMATOGRAPHER
(Director of Photography) The technical director of a film.
My favorite job on a set is that of the cinematographer. I take on the responsibility of bringing the director's vision to life from a technical standpoint. I plan and execute all the camera movements and settings as well as plot out effective lighting diagrams with my gaffer.
GAFFER
(Chief Lighting Technician) Lighting guy
The role I find myself fulfilling the most on sets is that of the gaffer. I believe that good lighting is what sets apart a cinematic piece from 90% of other work. Not only is lighting necessary for proper exposure, but it also tells a story of its own which plays into the final product.
